Ivy Pediatrics made a decision in March 2014 not to accept patients whose parents refuse essential primary vaccines for non-medical reasons or those that request alternative schedule that significantly differs from the CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations. We strongly believes in the effectiveness and safety of vaccinations. Non-mandatory vaccines in our practice are Flu, Hep A, Gardasil (although we highly recommend them).
