Prenatal Visit Forms

Congratulations! Having a baby is one of the most rewarding experiences in your life. Ivy Pediatrics shares in your joy and enthusiasm. We look forward to many years of providing care and support to you and your new family.

We encourage new parents to schedule a prenatal visit. This visit helps expecting parents to become acquainted with us, tour our offices, and ask questions regarding the birth of your baby and our practice. Our prenatal visits are held Monday-Friday at any of our offices and on Saturday at our Manalapan & Hamilton  offices only. This visit is complimentary!

Vaccinations
Ivy Pediatrics made a decision in March of 2014 not to accept patients whose parents refuse essential primary vaccines for non-medical reasons or those that request an alternative schedule that significantly differs from the CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations. We strongly believe in the effectiveness and safety of vaccinations.  Non-mandatory vaccines in our practice are Flu, Hep A, Gardasil (although we highly recommend them).  Please read the article below about our philosophy.  If you do not agree with our philosophy, then we are not a good for you and we encourage you to find a practice that will meet your needs.

Hospital Affiliations

Our practice is affiliated with Robert Wood Johnson and St. Peter's  Children's Hospitals.

All babies born in those hospitals are taken care by the pediatric hospitalists.  We do not see any baby in the hospital.

After coming home from giving birth, your baby should see us within the next 2-3 days. At your baby's first visit you should expect us to fully examine the baby, check the baby's weight, height, and answer any questions.
