Dr. Nancy Deacon began caring for children and their families as a pediatric nurse.
She received her medical degree from UMDNJ-SOM and completed her residency at Monmouth Medical Center.
She was a partner at West Park Pediatrics for 12 years as a pediatrician.
She founded Shore Touch Pediatrics in Toms River in 2007, becoming part of Ivy Pediatrics, December 2019.
Dr. Deacon is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, in the Department of Pediatrics, Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Monmouth Medical Center
She is site coordinator and trainer for Touchpoints training at the Unterberg Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center which includes Pediatric Residency training. 2004-Present
Dr. Deacon is a Neonatal Behavioral Observation National Team Trainer, Brazelton Institute 2012-Present
Dr. Deacon has 2 adult children and 4 grandchildren. She resides with her husband in Ocean County.
